Nutrition Assessments

Timely and periodic assessments of individuals’ nutritional status and needs must be completed with professional standards of practice. During this process we identify and assess each individuals nutrition and risk factors, assist in implementing pertinent food and nutrition interventions and monitor the effectiveness of such interventions.

Meal Monitoring

Meal Monitoring

We monitor for person centered dining approaches, appropriate food temperatures, proper serving sizes and that diets are properly followed. Review of menus and therapeutic/modified consistency diets for appropriateness of population and nutritional adequacy is provided.

Food Safety & Sanitation Checks

Food Safety & Sanitation Checks

Regular food safety and sanitation checks with real-time coaching and training to ensure all local, state and federal standards are followed in order to assure a safe and sanitary department of food and nutrition services.

Training

Competency training includes in-service training with your staff including topics on various aspects of food service management, food safety and sanitation, resident nutritional care and the concept of person-centered dining.

On Call Rd Coverage

On-Call RD Coverage

In between onsite visits RD coverage (including holidays and weekends) is provided for off-site nutrition assessments of high risk residents such as those receiving enteral or parenteral nutrition, those with Stage 3 and 4 pressure injuries as well as dialysis patients to assure timely nutrition intervention.

Pre-Survey Audits

Pre-survey audits of Food and Nutrition Departments help clients identify significant cost savings by uncovering deficiencies pre-survey and implementing changes to encourage compliance. We also provide on-site support during surveys as requested.
